Haiti January 12 2010

There are many relief organizations that have been working hard to help the people of Haiti and millions of funds have been raised. Many people have asked the question "How can they help?” 

In response, Ripples of Hope sponsored several fundraising efforts including, "The Combit Collective" which was led by children to support the Jacmel area.  Team Ripples also travelled to Haiti and collaborated with “Adopt A Community,” to help provide shelter to specific families who lost their homes in the January earthquake.  During our visit we worked with leaders in Jacmel to assemble tents for displaced families.

We thank everyone who participated in this program.   We remain committed to helping the people of Haiti and will continue to seek ways in which we can partner with local organizations to offer our support in helping to rebuild communities.
